Our custom pleat facility is able to fulfill large orders with direct shipment nationwide.
Smaller quantity custom pleat orders made LOCALLY in one of our 16 Branches and can be picked up there or shipped as needed.
We can work directly with end users or supply other air filter distributors. Please contact us for specific lead times.
Our Custom sized pleats made to order from MERV 8 - 13.
We can make 1”, 2”, and 4” filter depths to meet specs.
Filters are made in 1/4 inch increments.
Sizes are made in nominal and exact measurements.
JFC can make your custom sized pleat with one pleat or combine two filters (or more) together to make your size.
Let’s look at a 20 x 37.25 x 2 custom sized filters:
For the example below we will use two 20 x 20 x 2 pleats, which is the nominal measurement. The exact size is 19.5” x 19.5” x 2.
The second 20 x 20 x 2 pleat,will be cut down to 20 x 17.75 x 2. The cut filter is capped to reduce air bypass and secure the filter.
Combining the two filters makes the total length 37.25 inches.
Exact = 19.5 x 37.25 x 2
Specify your size (exact measurement) when ordering.
Similar to lumber, filters have a nominal and exact measurement. For example, a 24 x 24 x 2 pleat has an actual measurement of 23.5 x 23.5 x 2.
More examples:
16 x 24 x 1 = 15.5 x 23.5 x 1
20 x 25 x 2 = 19.5 x 24.5 x 2
