UltraViolet Lights

Traditional filters, though effective in filtering dust particle and sediments, fail to deliver when it comes to cleaning biological and chemical contaminants when ultraviolet lights come in as a viable solution. That is the reason why ultraviolet lights have become an indispensable element in both commercial and residential establishments. Joe W. Fly Co. Inc. provides a range of highly efficient Ultraviolet lights and filters with UV technology from industry leader Sanuvox, designed to meet diverse filtration needs. Our product range includes:

  • Sanuvox Coil Clean
  • Sanuvox Bio-Wall
  • Sanuvox Portable
  • Sanuvox In Ceiling
  • Sanuvox Residential

How Does the UV System Work?

The UV wavelengths delivered by the sun destroy and deactivate the contaminants present in the atmosphere. Sanuvox proprietary Mercury Vapor Ultraviolet Lamps work in a similar way, by producing the same UV wavelengths to destroy chemical and biochemical contaminants circulating in the indoor environment. The lamps produce two wavelengths - UVC (Germicidal 254 nm) and UVV (Oxidizing 187 nm). UVC destroys microorganisms such as mold, bacteria and viruses, by attacking their DNA. UVV, on the other hand, oxidizes chemical contaminants, eliminating smoke, VOCs, fumes, and formaldehyde, among others.
