Tri-Dim offers a full selection of molecular filtration bulk media to remove a broad spectrum of airborne molecular contaminants (AMC). The media types highlighted below are the more commonly requested, but specialty media is also available.

Product Specifications

Upgrading to the Prime10 from a MERV 8 pleated air filter leads to a significant increase in filter efficiency, allowing fewer particles to pass through the filter’s media. Using our Prime10 pleated filters lessens build up on your HVAC’s coils, in turn saving you money and making your indoor space more energy efficient.

Tri-Sorb VH

Tri-Sorb VH is a V-bank carbon filter that features special honeycomb panels. These panels hold 24 lbs of carbon per 24 x 24 x 12 filter—either 100% 6 x 12 mesh, industrial-grade CTC high-activity carbon, or a 50/50 blend of carbon and potassium permanganate. These types and quantity of carbon allow Tri-Sorb VH to be used in applications with heavy concentrations of unwanted gases and to control a wide range of odors.

Product Specifications

Tri-Sorb VH is designed to withstand the demands of the toughest of applications. The frame is double-walled and constructed from high strength plastic. And the pack sealant is moisture resistant and strong to add to the overall pack strength.
But this toughness and strength does not compromise performance. Tri-Sorb VH effectively controls gaseous contaminants while offering a
low initial operating resistance of just 0.30 ”W.G.

Tri-Sorb V M15

Tri-Sorb V M15 packs 11.5 lbs of carbon into a nominal
24 x 24 x 12″ sized filter. Unlike most carbon filters,
Tri-Sorb V M15 utilizes a smaller mesh size, which
exposes more of the carbon’s surface area to the air
flow. This larger open surface area translates into a
higher removal efficiency of airborne molecular
contaminants.

Hydrosil XB-17

Various pollutant systems require both adsorption and reactive chemistry for effective removal of all pollutants. Therefore, Hydrosil created a product called XB-17. XB-17 is a 50/50 blend by volume of activated carbon (HS-AC) and HS-600. The blend is commonly used to remove volatile organic compounds (VOC) from gas phase.

Hydrosil’s HS-AC is highly active granular activated carbon (GAC) manufactured via high temperature steam activation from selected grades of coconut shell. Coconut shell activated carbon is known for its high hardness, low dust, and low ash content. The HS-600 is a hard zeolite in the granular form. Its’ high impregnated level of potassium permanganate and insignificant dusting attributes make it an ideal media for gas phase filtration. The two products blended together casts a wide net to remove a handful of inorganic and organic compounds.
